Summer 2008

The summer is marching forward. We have been enjoying the warm weather and afternoons spent at the pool. As you will see in the pictures we got to go to work with Mark for Family Day. Emma thinks that there is a carnival at her dad's job everyday now and asks to go to work with him all the time. She got to try cotton candy for the first time (which she immediately spit out of her mouth) and get her face painted. It was great to see where Mark works (normally people without security clearances are not allowed in the building) and to meet his coworkers.

Jack is now walking. We have had one bad spill where he bruised one side of his face but he is enjoying this new freedom. He is also talking more and more. My favorite word that he says is "thank you", it is nice to hear it since Emma needs to be prompted to say it. He also calls Emma "Me-ma" and will yell for her when she goes out of his site.

We are set to enjoy the rest of this summer. No big trips planned but Emma is turning 3 in July and is ready for this big day. Mark and I cannot believe that we have a 3 yr old. The time has gone by way too fast.
